Handmade reclaimed wood desk with UK-made black steel hairpin legs, individually made to order in your chosen size and wax finish.
★★★★★ 5-star rated Etsy seller
Made from genuine reclaimed timber, every desk is carefully prepared, sanded smooth and finished by hand in my UK workshop. Rather than hiding the history of the wood, I retain its natural grain, knots, markings and character, meaning no two desks are exactly the same.
Whether you're creating a dedicated home office, upgrading your computer workspace or simply need a solid wooden writing desk, you can choose the size and finish that works for your space.

Choice of Four Wax Finishes
Choose from:
- Antique Pine
- Medium Brown
- Dark Oak
- Jacobean
Each finish is applied and buffed by hand to enhance the natural grain of the reclaimed timber.
As this is genuine reclaimed wood, variations in grain, knots, old markings, small cracks and colour are completely natural and form part of the character of each desk.
UK-Made Steel Hairpin Legs
The desk is supplied with high-quality black powder-coated steel hairpin legs made in the UK.
I source the legs from a UK steel manufacturer rather than using lower-cost imported alternatives, giving the finished desk a strong, clean industrial look that works particularly well with reclaimed timber.
The desktop arrives completely finished and the legs are supplied separately for safe delivery. Fixings are included and fitting them is straightforward.
Other leg styles, including A-frame, X-frame and trapezium steel legs, can also be sourced if you're looking for something different.
Built for Everyday Use
Reclaimed furniture should have character, but it still needs to be practical.
Each desktop is carefully sanded to produce a smooth working surface, while solid Oak bracing is fitted underneath to provide additional strength and stability.
The result is a substantial desk designed for everyday home-office use rather than lightweight mass-produced furniture.
Made Individually to Order
Genuine Reclaimed Wood
Using reclaimed timber means giving existing wood another life rather than replacing it with imitation wood-effect materials.
It also means your desk will be genuinely individual. Knots, grain patterns, historic markings, indentations and natural variations are retained wherever practical rather than removed.
🌱 A tree is also funded through Ecologi with every order.
