UK Shipping Policy

Free UK Delivery

We offer free delivery on all orders to UK mainland addresses. No minimum order value, no hidden charges — what you see at checkout is what you pay.

Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland

Delivery to remote areas including the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands may incur an additional surcharge. If a surcharge applies to your address, we will contact you before dispatching your order.

Lead Time

All our furniture is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our standard lead time is approximately 3 weeks from the date your order is placed. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and notify you when your order is ready to dispatch.

Dispatch & Delivery

Once your order is complete and dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–5 working days depending on your location. You will receive a dispatch notification with tracking information when your order leaves our workshop.

Large Item Delivery

Our furniture can be large and heavy. Deliveries of large items will be delivered by either ParcelForce or FedEx. If you need to arrange a specific delivery date or time, please contact us after placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Inspect on Arrival

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly. We may ask you to retain the original packaging.

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched.

EU Shipping Policy

Shipping to the European Union

We ship our handmade reclaimed wood furniture to EU member countries. Please read the following carefully before placing an order, as EU orders are subject to additional customs requirements following the UK's departure from the European Union.

Delivery Times

All our furniture is made to order with a lead time of approximately 3 weeks from the date of order. Once dispatched, delivery to EU destinations typically takes an additional 3–7 working days depending on your country and local customs processing times.

Shipping Costs

Free delivery applies to UK mainland orders only. EU shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size/weight of your order.

Customs, Duties & VAT

As a UK-based business shipping to the EU, your order may be subject to import VAT and customs duties upon entry into your country. The rules depend on the value of your order:

  • Orders of €150 or under — Import VAT applies. This may be collected at checkout or charged by the carrier upon delivery, depending on our current VAT registration status.
  • Orders over €150 — Import VAT and customs duties apply and are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery before your parcel is released.

Please be aware that you (the buyer) are responsible for any import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees charged by your country's customs authority. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping costs unless explicitly stated at checkout.

We recommend checking with your local customs office for an estimate of charges before ordering, as rates vary by country and product type.

Customs Documentation

All EU shipments are accompanied by the required customs documentation, including a commercial invoice and accurate product descriptions and values. We do not under-declare values on customs forms.

Delays

EU orders may experience delays due to customs processing. These delays are outside our control and do not affect your statutory rights. If your order is held by customs, you may be contacted directly by the carrier or your local customs authority.

Returns from the EU

If you wish to return an item from an EU country, please contact us before sending anything back. Return shipping costs and any re-import duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please see our full Returns Policy for details.
